Manchester United have booked their place for the Champions League final at Wembley thanks to a 4-1 win over Schalke 04 at Old Trafford on Wednesday, winning the tie 6-1 overall. Manchester United will play against Barcelona in the final in Wembley on Saturday 28 May 2011. The Catalans defeated their arch rival Real Madrid 3-1 on aggregate to qualify for the final. It will be Manchester United’s 3^rd appearance in the champions league final in four seasons.
