Manchester United will face Schalke in the Champions League Semi Finals
German team Schalke will be Manchester United’s opponents in the Champions League semi finals. Schalke won 2-1 against Inter Milan on Wednesday to consolidate their 5-2 win at San Siro a week ago. Once again, Spanish veteran Raul was the main man for the German side. Manchester United earned their place in their semi finals by defeating rivals Chelsea 2-1 at Old Trafford on Tuesday and 3-1 on aggregate.
As such Man United will have to defeat Schalke over two legs in order to win a trip to Wembley for the Champions League final on 28 May. In the other semi final, Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona will be playing against each other.
