Oletul Galati: Manchester United's little-known opponents
Manchester United’s next two Champions League Group Stage games will be against Romanian side Otelul Galati. Galati are a little-known club, so this is a perfect chance to know more about them.
Founded in 1964, Otelul Galali are nicknamed Oţerlarii, which means Steelers. Otelul is located in eastern Romania, in the largest steel-producing seaport on the Danube. Galati’s stadium has a capacity of only 13,500 and the Champions League match against Manchester United on Tuesday will therefore be played at the National Stadium of Bucharest which can accommodate 55,600 people.

Carling Cup Fourth Round draw
Manchester United have been drawn away to Aldershot in the Fourth Round of the Carling Cup. The tie will be played in the week commencing 24th October 2011.

Manchester United win record 19th English league title!
Manchester United won a record nineteenth English league title and their twelfth Premier League title after a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. Manchester United needed just one point to secure the title after their win over Chelsea last weekend, and it was a nervy start for the red devils as they went behind in the first half. True to themselves, Man United bounced back and Wayne Rooney scored from a penalty kick to hand Man United the point they needed!

Manchester United have booked their place for the Champions League final at Wembley thanks to a 4-1 win over Schalke 04 at Old Trafford on Wednesday, winning the tie 6-1 overall. Manchester United will play against Barcelona in the final in Wembley on Saturday 28 May 2011. The Catalans defeated their arch rival Real Madrid 3-1 on aggregate to qualify for the final. It will be Manchester United’s 3rd appearance in the champions league final in four seasons.
