I dream with a ferdinand-Chivu partnership in central defense. Chivu would not be too expensive, Roma is basically broke and would accept any offer above the 12 million dollars. Chivu is an exquisite defender capable of scoring from free kicks, really good in the air, and great on individual marks. He can control the most skillful players one on one, he is speedy, brave, very clever, pure quality. Him and Rio could be the best central defenders in the world.

Ah, and he is only 24 years old!

Never heard of him before but from what you say sounds good. Anyone any more info?

He's Romanian right? I usually have in my team in Championship Manager :D . He's a great player (in real life). Having him in the team will certainly strenghen the Man Utd defence line. My only worry is whether he'll adapt to the style of play..

He is quite good. Fast and a decent tackler. But he does get caught out positinally a lot. Don't know if he would be a good choice for central defence.

man he rocked at Ajax, he was there when they made q-finals at CL a couple of years ago then was sold off to Roma. He is good but is a arrigent prick much like Mexes. He in my opinon was the difference in the Ajax team that made them get as far as they did. since he and Van Ser Meyde was sold they have done crap in Europe and now in league
