 Cristiano Ronaldo sealed his record breaking move to Real Madrid on Friday, the deal had been prolonged over the personal details involved in his contract. Ronaldo will be presented at the Berebau on the 6th of July
A statement on Madrid's website
on Friday evening read: "Real Madrid and Manchester United have signed
a final agreement for the transfer of the rights of Cristiano Ronaldo
from July 1."
Earlier this month it was announced that Manchester United had agreed an £80m transfer fee with Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo. Having bought him from Sporting club de Portugal in 2003 for £12m the deal represents a £68m profit for the reds. It is thought that Ferguson will have the entire funds available to him to buy replacements for Ronaldo and Tevez.
