Frazier Campbell looks to be heading for the exit doors of Old Trafford after Man Utd accepted an offer thought to be about £6m for him from Hull City. The 21 year old has spent the last two seasons on loan, helping Hull get promotion to the Premiership before joining Spurs as part of the deal to bring Berbatov to Old Trafford.
The £6m offer is down from the £7m
Hull offered on transfer deadline day last season which was rejected
due to the nature of the deal with Spurs for Dimitar Berbatov.
There was a lot of early promise with the England U-21 player with 15 goals in 32 starts for Hull in the Championship and a succesful loan spell at United's feeder club Royal Antwerp where he got 21 goals in 31 appearence. He failed to force himself into Tottenham's team despite the transfer of Berbatov and Keane out of the club and when Keane returned in the January transfer window his chances were limited even more. This coupled with Macheda's emergence and Fergie's rating of Danny Welbeck would seem to have provided the final evidence that 6m for a youth product is a good deal.
