man of the matchA history of being a bit of a bogey ground in recent seasons gone by, United were looking to maintain their push for the title and retain top spot off Liverpool who had beaten Pompey the day before when they visited Upton Park. In the end a superb solo effort by Giggs deservedly won the game and put United back on top but who was your man of the match?

A Ronaldo double and Nemanja Vidic's 6th goal of the campaign wrapped up the win as United make a new record with 11 consecutive cleansheets.

Well, almost. To be more precise I witnessed United’s Carling Cup semi-final victory against Derby from the second row of Old Trafford’s South Stand.  A fantastic seat to catch the first glimpse of new signing Zoran Tosic warm up along the touchline right in front of me, as well as a more familiar Cristiano Ronaldo.
